EPC Westcountry was set up in 2007 by Chris Page, a qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessor, to provide businesses within the local housing market quality and professional Energy Performance Certificates at the ‘right price’ for the Westcountry. The aim is to provide the Westcountry with a local energy assessment service which incorporates a fast, friendly, efficient and above all, professional response to providing EPCs without charging the large corporate fees which seem to be common place within the national industry. Furthermore, it was felt that a simple pricing structure would offer sellers a straight forward system when acquiring an EPC regardless of the number of bedrooms within the property (the number of bedrooms makes little difference to the survey time) and so would encourage local businesses to utilise our services within the local area and help sustain the local economy. In doing this, EPC Westcountry has built up a number of valued clients within Devon and Cornwall and will continue to strive in providing a local service for local businesses at a local price. With this in mind EPC Westcountry has used the same philosophy as a consumer, with many of our purchases for business materials and products being purposefully acquired from the local area.
